Swift Energy Group was engaged by Newlands Group to deliver the complete electrical package for the refurbishment and extension of the Blue Mountain Hotel. 

The project involved the demolishment of the existing front bar and drive-through bottle shop to create a new contemporary sports bar and gaming room extension, as well as an extension to the carpark.

Our electrical scope included:

• New site main switchboard, mains & submains, and distribution board upgrades to accommodate the increased supply for the new loads
• Integration of a Digital Zen Control lighting system to manage architecturally selected LED & heritage-style light fittings
• Power distribution and fit-out for the sports bar and gaming room extension
• Upgrades to the full site carpark lighting infrastructure

One of the key challenges was delivering these works while ensuring the hotel and gaming room remained operational for patrons throughout construction. Our team worked closely with Newlands Group to stage works effectively, maintain safety, and minimise disruptions to the venue.

The end result is a modern, functional, and visually striking hospitality space that enhances the customer experience while meeting the client’s operational needs.
