Our team was engaged to deliver critical electrical infrastructure upgrades at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) Toowoomba campus. The project scope included:

• Replacement of the existing 315kVA private transformer
• Main Switchboard (SMSB) replacement
• Full High Voltage (HV) scope management, including civil works and LV infrastructure

The project presented unique challenges due to the ageing HV network, which had been deemed non-compliant and was scheduled for shutdown by the ESO if not addressed. 

To ensure campus operations were unaffected, we:

• Installed and managed a temporary generator solution to maintain continuous power supply to all facilities
• Undertook a detailed design study of the embedded HV network to ensure compliance with current standards
• Coordinated and managed all HV, civil, and LV works in a staged and controlled manner
• The UniSQ campus remained fully operational throughout the works, with no disruptions to staff or students. 

The project successfully delivered a compliant HV and LV upgrade, ensuring long-term network reliability, safety, and compliance.
